With a running time of two hours and forty minutes, this movie labors on FOREVER!!!!
Almost as if on cue, Todd fell asleep with roughly an hour and fifteen minutes left. His soundtrack is as annoying as ever.
As for me, I really liked this movie, even though I didn’t think I would. It was a western, but without the “shoot ‘em up” action. Casey Affleck should have won his nomination for Best Supporting Actor - he was phenomenal in his role as Robert Ford. At the very least, this movie should have for Best Cinematography!
Plus, I know a movie is really good when it makes me want to find out more about a subject - in this case, the history involving Jesse James and Robert Ford.
My rating: B+.
