Lake Tahoe, CA
February 2009
Day 01 - 1230 pst (1430 cst)
My coworker, Jim, and I departed this morning for a week of skiing and snowboarding at the Heavenly Mountain Resort in Lake Tahoe, CA!
This is Jim’s second trip to Heavenly and my forth trip. We came here last year in March and had less than desirable snow conditions. We decided to come a month earlier this year, and are praying that the all-powerfull “Snow Fairy” blesses us with better conditions this year! The good news is that Heavenly received over 3 feet of the powdery white substance during the last 10 days or so.
We are currently flying from Chicago, IL, to Reno, NV, where we will take a coach bus up to Lake Tahoe area.
Southwest Airlines, and the ultra convienent Midway Airport, proved again to be the best travel option for domestic travel! I am agressively trying to sway Jim to ditch his old legacy carrier, American Airlines, and join the millions of others who have switched to their loyalties to Southwest Airlines!
Come on… Southwest Airlines offers the cheapest fares out there, no second checked bag fees, no fee to change your reservation change (even if the destination and travel dates are changed, up to one year from the original purchase date), and free curb-side check-in! For more info, visit http://www.southwest.com

The economy has hit the Fox household especially hard. Todd now has a second job doing promtional work for Southwest Airlines.
P.S. Todd, go back and fix your two grammatical errors. Being tired is not an excuse for poor grammar!
